Another Tuesday – Renee Reimer

Another tue PIC

Renee Reimer and I went to middle school and high school together. She was my first friend when I moved to South Dakota. I specifically remember the day that it happened. It was the dreaded lunch period, and I, being the new girl had the daunting task of finding a spot to sit. I sat at a pretty empty table and at the table next to me was Renee. She leaned over and said, “Do you want to be friends?” and from that moment on it was history.

Renee is now working as a preschool teacher and a Mennonite  youth pastor in Kansas.  In our interview she talks about what it means to be Mennonite, her view on youth and religion, and how she wants to incorporate her love for music with her passion for youth.
