2015, A Year At Work.

The New Year brings a new start, enticing most people to set new goals and feel hopeful that this year is the year they will actually be productive and work hard enough to meet their resolutions. Not me. I don’t like the idea of making goals, it has a negative connotation for me, the word “goal” seems to be far from reach or difficult to make happen, promises people never keep. I like to think of my “goals” as things that are working for me. Goals are ideas or wants that I have released into the universe and are now working to find me.

This year, 2015, is going to work for me. That’s right, I am turning the tables. I am no longer working towards these unattainable, far fetched goals. I want 2015 to show me how awesome it is to be a Mama is, what it’s like to be paid for simply recording my every day likes and dislikes, how many books I can read, how many books I can write, what kind of shape I can get my body in, how healthy I can be, where I can travel, what fun things I can buy, how good I can get at meditating, what I can create for my blog, who I can interview for my blog, who I will meet, how will my writing improve, how my picture taking abilities will improve, what will I learn?

I want this year to bring me new friends, show me how good I can get at yoga and handstands, where will I travel, what technology will come, how many pull ups I can do, how big Phoenix will grow, what new crystals I’ll add to my collection, what new art I will discover, what new foods I’ll try, what new habits I’ll start, what bad habits I’ll kick, what new activities and sports I’ll try.

2015 is a year that has a lot to do, so it better get busy. I know this year has the ability to reach the goals I have set for it and I am excited to see everything it will accomplish. As for me, I am going to sit back, relax, and enjoy every single day that this year brings me.
