Hi Friends <3

We made it home! It was a looooong drive but we made it hassle free.

This was a heavy duty trip for our little fam. 2 weeks away from home is pretty weird, especially with a little one. Phoenix took it all in stride as he usually does, but when we walked through our front door he knew he was home and he was happy about it. This trip propelled his walking skills and he is basically running around now. It is funny to see him walking around like he owns the place. He’s the cutest little walker I have ever seen.

Our trip was so full and so great. I saw so many great friends. We watched one of my best friends get married which was amazing. So amazing. It is so fun to watch your friends find their soul mates. I was so glad I could be there.

We also saw my Sister, Mom, Dad, Aunt Molly and cousins, and my Dads parents (Phoenix’s Great grandparents) and my great Aunt Linda and Uncle Scott. It was so great to have Phoenix spend time with so much family. He is so loved by so many, and I am eternally grateful for that.

Traveling is such a great test of a relationship, and this was no exception for Trav and I. We had some serious break throughs in our relationship during this trip. I feel like we have returned a totally different couple, in the best way. Traveling forces you out of your comfort zone and that is really the best way to get to know someone. I saw new sides of Trav and he saw new sides of me. Our evolution as a couple has been the most fun thing I have ever been a part of. Evolution comes with some ups and downs but the downs never last long. And after the downs, the lessons learned are priceless. I truly feel like Trav and I can handle anything that comes our way. I am so proud of how far we have come and how fast we learn and evolve. It is so fun to be in a relationship that is constantly upgrading, constantly getting easier, more fluid, and more fun. I can’t wait to be his wife, officially.

We had a great trip, great food, and I am so grateful for all of it. Thank you to all my family who put us up. We miss you already!

Today we are hunting down a Christmas tree! I ams o excited 🙂 I have never cut my own tree before. I can’t wait!!!

Love to you all!

XOXO
